Study: Long sleep protects from early death

Most of us work intensively throughout the week, adversely affecting the number of hours of sleep we need to get our bodies comfortable. NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Weekend clinical relaxation can reduce the early death rate for people who lack adequate sleep over the week, according to a recent study by Swedish researchers published in the journal Sleep Research.
According to the British newspaper The Independent, if you have to wake up early at 7 am to go to work, extra hours in your bed during the holiday will undoubtedly be beneficial to your health.
For the study, these data were collected from data provided by 38,000 adults in 1997, all of which were examined 13 years later to determine the quality of their sleep in line with their mortality. The results showed that insufficient sleep during the week is not a risk factor for death if associated with long sleep during the weekend.
