Life straw:
** The water filter is designed to be touched by one person to purify the water, thus providing the safety of the water you drink
** These filters remove 99.999% of bacteria and parasites present in water
** There are two types of this technique:
Life straw and family life straw, additional water filters used at the Swiss-based Vistergard Frandsen water consumption point for individual use in developing countries and for distribution in humanitarian disasters.
Life and life straw was distributed in the 2010 Haiti earthquake, the 2010 floods in Pakistan and Thailand floods in 2011. In Kenya's drought-stricken Meotomo province, the Kenya Red Cross provided 3,750 children and 6 750 beds with filters,
** Maintenance and installation:
Life straw is a 310mm plastic tube and 30 mm diameter
The water drawn into the straw passes through hollow energy, which filters particles up to 200 microns, using physical filtration methods only without chemicals.
This process is supported in Saudi Arabia
Life straw is capable of removing 99.9% of water-borne parasites such as giardias and bacteria (cryptosporidium)
